　「日加トゥデイ」は、MH Pacific Media Inc.が提供するカナダと日本をつなぐニュースサイトです。バンクーバーを中心とした日系カナダ人コミュニティのできごとや、カナダで起きる出来事を配信しています。

　英語やフランス語が中心のカナダで、日系カナダ人コミュニティと日本語コミュニティに日本語でニュースを伝えてるカナダで唯一のニュースサイトとしての役割の重要性を認識しています。

　配信する内容は、取材や調査に基づくことを原則とし、より正確で、コミュニティをつなぐことをモットーとしています。

　ジャーナリスト、フリーランスライター、編集は取材・執筆に関し、▽取材先に身元を明らかにして取材であることを知らせること▽取材先では相手に常に真摯であること▽記事内容は事実と確かな情報に基づくこと▽引用は文法的な修正内にとどめること▽取材写真は撮影したものを使用すること▽英語での取材の場合は記事は日本語で掲載することを知らせること▽その他常識的な行動を取ること、を順守するものとします。

“Japan Canada Today” is a news site by MH Pacific Media Inc. that connects Canada and Japan. It provides coverage of events in the Japanese Canadian community, primarily around Vancouver, as well as broader happenings within Canada.

In Canada, where English and French are the dominant languages, Japan Canada Today recognizes the importance of its role as the only news site delivering news in Japanese to the Japanese Canadian and Japanese-speaking communities in Canada.

Contents are based on reporting and investigation, with a commitment to accuracy and the mission of connecting the community.

Journalists, freelance writers, and editors of Japan Canada Today must adhere to the following guidelines regarding covering the stories, interviews and writing: 1. They must identify themselves to the interviewees and people they interact with and clearly state that the interaction is for covering the stories. 2. They must always be sincere and respectful toward the interviewees and others. 3. The content of articles must be based on facts and proper information. 4. Quotations basically should only be modified for grammatical correctness. 5. Any photographs used in the articles must be taken during the events and interviews. 6. If the interviews are conducted in English, the interviewees must be informed that the articles will be published in Japanese. 7. They must also act in accordance with common sense and maintain professional conduct at all times.
